Hi Anne, do you know which town your father was born in Lithuania? My father never knew that he might have family that escaped prior to the war.

Interesting that you say your grandfather emigrated to South Africa. Do you know to which city he may have emigrated to in South Africa?

My father Max Klibansky left Yavneh in 1929

Klibansky family from Lithuania - possibly shtetl was Yavneh or Javneh. Family lived from late 1880's until Germans invaded Lithuania
