The village of Lysaya Gora does not exist at present time. The village merged to Brest in 1958.

Before being included in the city boundaries, Lysaya Gora was part of the Rechitsa Village Council of the Brest district. It is believed that the name of the village came from the place where the settlement was located, which was almost completely devoid of vegetation. Currently, these are Belovezhskaya, Belorusskaya, Lysaya Gora, Tselinnaya streets.
