Name on Russian: Катин Бор.
The village of Katin Bor does not exist at present time. In 1979 was merged to the city of Brest.
In Polish documents and on maps of the 19th century, it was called Katinborg. In 1905, Katin Bor totaled 58 inhabitants. Later, the estate and the farm merged into one village. From 1940, Katin Bor belonged to Tyukhinichsky, and from 1959 to 1979 - Motykalsky village council of the Brest region.
