Hello,
Can you help me please.
I am looking for a ancestral polish village whose polish name was still :CZERWENICE about 1940.
I found a ukrainian translation like : CZERWEN and RUSSIAN : CHERVEN.
Is it the actual name of Czerwenice because I know borders changed since the war.
Can you tell me the administrative district of this village.
I live in Belgium and it's not easy for me to search this kind of information.
Thank you for answering me.

Try to search in Slovakia close to Presov (or Preshov) - http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?ci ... kia&zoom=5
I did't find this name on maps, but I've read about a village Chervenica close to Preshov in Slovakia.
Also I heard about the hill named Chervenica in Uzhgorod, Ukraine.
