Hi,
I am looking for any information on my Grandfather and Great Grandparents..They were from Yunishche, near Stolin. They left in 1928 and went to Onterio Canada. After my ggrandmother died my ggrandfather went to Brazil, I see this alot on here that many immigrated to South America, I was wondering why that is? Also it seems there was a large Jewish population in Stolin and the surrounding area, and if anyone could tell me if this is a jewish name or not...I appreciate any help..

well, my grand-grandparents came to Brazil in +- 1900.
Stevam Suppa (Stefano Suppa) and Ana Galati.
came from Vallelonga, Calбbria - IT.

Yep, I am sure that this is the same family,Ruby was the sister to my Grandfather I belive. His name was Nickolus. I hope you see this message, I just found your message...sometimes I have forgotten where I have written.

my great grandparents came from sicily, and settled in fargo north dakota. Their names were Bruno and Grace Suppa. My grand parents names are Joseph and Elain Suppa. They settled in Oregon , and that is were we live. My parents names are joseph and carol suppa.

My Grandmothers name was also Ruby Suppa. I was always told that we are related in one way or the other.
