Looking for anybody who knew my grandfather's family. His name was Nikolai (Kolya) Sobocki, Sopocki or Sobocinski. He was born in Glyadenie, Ivatsevichi district. Before WWII the same village was called Hladziemin. He visited that place in 1973 and I know there were people there who knew him and his family.

My great grandfather Feodor/Theodore/Frank Shurow was born in Kobrin.
On his World War I United States draft card, he listed his birth place as "Kobrin Vilage T__uli Russian".
He also listed that he served in the Russian military for 3 years, and was a seargent.
He was born in 1887 and left for the USA in 1912.
